Congratulations! Enping 15-1 Oilfield Group is Fully Into Operation
The Enping 15-1 oilfield group is about 200 kilometers southwest of Shenzhen, and the average water depth in the sea area is about 90 meters. Since the start of construction in August 2021, a total of 4 offshore platforms, 99 kilometers of submarine pipelines and 25 kilometers of submarine cables have been built. The newly built facilities and the Enping Oilfield Phase I project will realize the power, communication and submarine pipeline network. After reaching full production, Enping Oilfield will become the oil field group with the highest daily output in the South my country Sea, continuing to supply oil and gas resources for the economic development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
"The oil field group is independently designed, constructed, installed and operated in China. It can realize drilling, well workover, unmanned remote control, comprehensive oil, gas and water treatment, independent power generation and power grid, carbon dioxide reinjection and storage and many other functions. It is my country's first It is the most fully functional offshore oil field to date," said Wan Nianhui, general manager of the Enping Oilfield Operation Area of CNOOC Shenzhen Branch.
The Enping 15-1 oilfield group has my country's first large-scale unmanned intelligent platforms - the Enping 10-2 platform and the Enping 20-5 platform, which realize full-system, all-round, and full-sequence intelligent sensing and remote control. Since July this year, the Enping 15-1 oilfield group has successfully responded to three typhoons, namely Taili, Dusuri and Sula. It has reduced the impact of typhoons through remote unmanned production and has recovered a total of more than 10,000 tons of crude oil production losses.
The Enping 15-1 platform has my country's first offshore carbon dioxide storage demonstration project. Through the carbon dioxide separation and pressure treatment device and a carbon dioxide reinjection well on the platform, carbon dioxide generated with oil extraction can be injected into the seafloor formation on a large scale. According to estimates, this reinjection well can store about 300,000 tons of carbon dioxide every year, and has stored more than 1.46 million tons of carbon dioxide in total. Since the project was put into operation on June 1 this year, it has been operating safely for a total of 2,100 hours, with a peak daily gas injection volume of 210,000 cubic meters and a cumulative injection of carbon dioxide of more than 10 million cubic meters.
Yuan Wei, deputy general manager of CNOOC Shenzhen Branch, said: "The full commissioning of the Enping 15-1 oilfield group marks an important breakthrough in the unmanned and intelligent development model of my country's offshore oil fields. It is also a sign of CNOOC's green and low-carbon transformation and An important achievement of self-reliance and self-reliance in science and technology. We will continue to increase the exploration and development of offshore oil and gas resources, fully promote the increase of reserves and production, technological innovation and green development, continuously improve the level of localization of equipment, and promote the high-quality and sustainable development of my country's offshore oil industry. make greater contributions to development.”
CNOOC Shenzhen Branch announced on September 16 that the Enping 20-4 oil field located in the eastern waters of the South China Sea has been put into production. So far, the Enping 15-1 oilfield group, including six new oilfields, has been fully completed and put into production, with a peak daily crude oil production of more than 7,000 tons.
