Hole Opener
A hole opener is a fixed diameter bore hole enlargement tool that is utilized to expand the well bore beyond the original hole size drilled by the bit. Orchid Energy hole opener with fully heat-treated alloy steel is available with carbide-milled teeth and insert cutters.

Hole opener's arms and cutters are hard-faced for protection in three different designs for varying conditions and rock formations. The design of the hole opener allows for field-changing cutters. Special size is also available with detailed well conditions. We has many different types of hole openers to meet the various applications. The Max. size can be 42".
Cutter Types of Hole Opener There are three type for cutter: type “SM”used for soft to medium formation; type “MH” used for medium to hard formation; type “XH”used for hard formations. -
