Lifting Sub

Top drive subs are a pin-by-pin sub that is made up to the top drive, they serve as the sacrificial element between the drill string and the top drive. This saves on costly repair to the top drive by allowing multiple connections to be made up and broke out using the sub rather than the top drive itself.

During drilling operation, serious wear often takes place between drill pipes and casings. The wear sub is typically placed above the drill bit. It is designed to withstand the abrasive forces encountered during drilling, such as formations with high rock hardness or high levels of drill bit vibration.

Torque reduction sub is to reduce the excessive torque generated by drilling in short radius horizontal section and large angle well section. ​​​​​​​According to its structural components, the torque reduction sub is divided into: mandrel body, upper and lower sliding bearings, slip spiral inner sleeve, straight rib outer sleeve, stop collar etc.

API standard drill pipe Float valve is one of necessary tool for drilling, it consists of float valve sub and float valve, the main function are to prevent drill cuttings come into mud when connecting each joint and the bit bore block caused by back flow of silt.
